⚠️ No Display Board at Aizawl Bench
One of the most significant practical challenges at the Aizawl Bench is the absence of a Display Board — a facility that most other High Courts across India have implemented.
What is a Display Board?
A Display Board in a High Court is a real-time digital screen that tracks the live status of courtroom proceedings. Placed outside courtrooms, inside advocate bar rooms, and on official websites, they help lawyers and litigants know exactly which case is currently being heard.
Why Does It Matter?
| With Display Board | Without Display Board (Aizawl) |
|---|---|
| Lawyers know case status in real time | Must physically wait outside courtrooms |
| Litigants can plan their time | No way to track case progress remotely |
| Reduces crowding outside courtrooms | Advocates must remain on standby constantly |
| Integrated with online case tracking | No digital case status update |
| Available on official websites | No online case status visibility |
For advocates and litigants at the Aizawl Bench, the absence of this facility means they are entirely dependent on YouTube live streaming to remotely follow proceedings — making the streaming service here far more critical than at other benches.
📱 Until a display board system is implemented, the Court Live Stream App remains the most practical tool for remotely tracking Aizawl Bench proceedings.
6 Halls. Only 3 Streaming.
Similar to the situation at other High Courts, not every court hall at the Aizawl Bench streams on YouTube. Out of 6 total court halls, the data shows that only Court No. 1, Court No. 2, and Court No. 3 have recorded YouTube telecasts:
